Guest Post: Are You a No-Reply Comment Blogger?

If you have to ask, you probably are. Being a no-reply comment blogger means that whenever you comment on someone else’s blog, they can’t respond to you via email because your email address shows up as "noreply-comment@blogger.com". This is one of Blogger’s worse default settings for sure. No worries though, it’s a quick fix! Just follow these three simple steps:

Step One: Go to your Blogger Dashboard and click the dropdown button in the top right. From there it should allow you to click on “Blogger Profile”.

*Note: If you get rerouted to Google+, this just means that your blog is tied to your Google+ profile, not your Blogger profile. If this is the case, you will need to temporarily switch back to your Blogger Profile to manage this setting. Try using the lower drop-down menu (with the little wheel icon) and choose "Revert to Blogger Profile". Then you should be able to follow the rest of the steps below. You can always change back when you're done.

Step Two: Once you get to your Blogger Profile, click the button at the top right that says “Edit Profile”.

Step Three: Ensure the box is checked next to “Show my email address”. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Save Profile”.

Et voila! Now other bloggers can respond to you! If you have any troubles, shoot me a quick email and I’d be happy to help you out (thegoldlifeblog@gmail.com).

Hi I'm Casey! Welcome to my world, and lifestyle blog. I'm the author over at Aslan's Auspicious Albany Adventure, thanks for stopping by!

I'm a twenty-something newlywed blogger with newly transplanted Texan roots. I currently call Rensselaer, New York home. Our humble abode is a jump over the Hudson river, right outside of Albany. My husband and I were transferred to the Northeast after a  his job offered him a position that was too good to pass up! I'm a Registered Nurse by day, well sometimes by night as well. In Texas I worked on an oncology unit and absolutely fell in love with bed side nursing. In my spare time you can find me sipping an iced coffee, exploring the streets of Albany with my Canon and a pair of Ray Bans. I love the eclectic things in life and enjoy finding  great vintage steals and DIY decorating. My current DIY project is an herb garden made out of a pallet. I can't wait for the weather to warm up around here so that I can start the staining process.

I love the beauty and the new possibilities of the Northeast. Sometimes expanding past what you know can be the best thing in life. We are enjoying the ride so far.
