Bottoms Up Bloody Mary Recipe!

We have a fun guest post today from Laura who writes the blog Lavender and Lace!  Laura says this Bloody Mary recipe is the "perfect combination of salty, spicy and a little sour" and put Bloody Mary's "back on the map" for her!

Check our Laura's recipe below and be sure to head over to her blog to say, as well!  A spicy drink is the perfect way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

What you'll need:

  • 1 Quart V8 Juice
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 3 Tb lemon juice
  • 3 Tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tb horseradish
  • 1 Tb olive juice, Manzanilla olives
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup vodka
  • Celery Stalk (I did 1-2 for each glass)
  • Olives
  • I filled an ice tray with v8 so the drinks wouldn't water down

Combine all the ingredients except vodka in a pitcher and let sit for at least 2 hours. I put the vodka in a half hour before the guests arrived! It won't disappoint!
